Randi Williams, purveyor of fine period jewelry.

A native of New York, Randi Savoy Williams has a bachelor of fine arts degree from the prestigious Rhode Island School of Design in Providence, RI. She has enjoyed a lengthy career as an award winning set decorator working on films, television programs and Broadway shows all over the United States as well as in Europe and Australia. Eventually she parlayed her expertise in the decorative arts into the business of buying and selling period Arts and Crafts furniture and accessories as well as American paintings. It is in this pursuit that she met and married Jim Williams of Nashville, Tennessee; a lifelong collector and prominent dealer in antique American paintings and early Southern decorative arts. Shortly after moving to Nashville in 1999, Randi embarked on yet another creative business endeavor with the establishment of Williams Galleries Fine Period Jewelry. Having developed great knowledge and love of the history and artistry of fine jewelry from the first half of the 20th Century, this would become her most impassioned pursuit to date. Now with 15 years in this specialty and a lifelong scholarship in the fine arts, Randi is considered by prominent colleagues world-wide to be a leading expert and dealer in Art Deco, Art Moderne, and Retro jewelry of the 1920s, 30s and 40s. She enthusiastically acquires and markets important pieces from famous houses such as Cartier, Van Cleef & Arpels and Tiffany & Company, as well as even more rare examples by makers such as René Boivin and Suzanne Belperron. Randi currently works and resides with her husband Jim in Nashville, TN.
